Kanchenjuga is known as the " five treasures of the snow". The "treasures" sometimes have a spiritual meaning but can also refer to its five summits. The one pictured here is Yalung Kang (on the top left) as seen from Pangpema at sunrise. After this latest layer oil ( snow detail) has dried, I,ll probaby do another very thin layer to give a frosty effect on the distant rock and a little bit more detail on the fore ground.
