Last minute painting this morning. I,ve finished my pair of miniatures in oils ...Moths found in the Silverdale and Arnside. I,m getting ready for the Silverdale and Arnside Art Festival on 28th- 29th June 25. I will be in the Gaskell Hall, with other members of the Silverdale painting group. Our exhibition will be open on the Friday as well.

I,m getting ready for the art trail, my work ( including my latest miniature -Larry the chief mouser to the cabinet office) will be on display in The Gaskell Hall.There are lots of other venues in the village with both professional and amatuers exhibiting. Its a very popular annual Cumbrian/ Lancashire event. I will be there in person in the Hall Sunday from 2.00pm onwards giving a very informal demonstration on how I painted my recent himalayan scenes. Basically I ,ll be painting part of another himalayan scene, but there will be photos of my recent paintings at various stages, so you can see how they evolve. Milnthorpe Art exhibition 25-28th July 2013

This is described as the South Lakelands most prestigious open exhibition with over 400 exhibits. Three of my paintings has been selected for display. Held inside the church in the main square at Milnthorpe the exhibition runs July 25th -28th and is open Thursday-Saturday 10am-7pm and Sunday 10am-3pm.Silverdale and Arnside Art trail 2013

Once again I will be exhibiting on the Silverdale Art Trail.Originals paintings, limited edition prints and cards available.The art trail runs over the last weekend in June Friday 5pm-8pm and Saturday/Sunday 10.30pm -5.30pm.
This year I will be down "The Row" at Scar close -number 13. This is the first house on the left on the Row" from the "Eaves wood" national trust car park. I will be exhibiting along with our host photographer - Clare Martin, ceramist Otalia Johnson and glass jewellery by Phillippa Lee with landscape painter Chris Rigby next door.
So theres something for everyone.

I am currently working on a collection of minature paintings inspired by my trips to Nepal. You will be able to see theses and my other work at the 2012 Silverdale and Arnside art trail which runs from the 29th,30th June and 1st July. This year I will be exhibiting with other artists at the Leeds children holiday home -opposite Holgates caravan park.
