A collection of the most beautiful and relatively common moths found in the Arnside and Silverdale area. In their resting positions and life size are Brimstone moth, Green carpet, Buff arches, Ruby tiger, Small Yellow wave, Barred umber, Beautiful carpet, Light Emerald, White Ermine, Spinach, Flame carpet,Green pug. I've always liked Escher's butterfly wood engravings, hence the black background. And all the species here are attracted to light at night.
